Vector Shot is a vertical arcade shooter in deep space. Stars stream past faster and faster as the game speeds up. Your guns fire on their own; you steer the ship left and right to get under whatever is falling. Anything that slips past breaks your streak, and the streak multiplies every kill up to x4. Gun upgrades drop in as you play and stack up to ten power pips; a hit strips the top one, and a recovery drop often lands nearby. Gold orbs fill a Super Charge that turns every gun on at once. Every minute is a new wave, faster and denser, with divers that lock on and gunships that fire back. Around the ninety second mark the Void Titan arrives: it hovers at the top, lights a lamp before a spread of bolts and marks a red stripe before its laser. Every five waves the star field changes colour.
How to play
- Your guns fire on their own: steer left and right to line up under what is falling.
- Shoot everything down. Anything that slips past breaks your streak.
- Catch the white drops for gun upgrades and the gold orbs for a Super Charge.
- A hit strips your top upgrade; with none left, the next hit ends the run. A shield from your powerups takes one hit.
- Around 90 seconds the Void Titan arrives. Move when its lamp glows, and step out of the red stripe before its laser fires.

Scoring
Each kill scores by the enemy's toughness and the wave, times your streak: every 12 kills in a row without a leak raise it, up to x4, and a leak sets it back to x1. A Void Titan is worth 25,000, and each one after that is worth double. Kills during a Super Charge pay a rising bonus. Tickets come from the ones you pick up, every wave you survive (more for a wave with no leaks), each streak step, Titan kills and score milestones.
Tips
- Stay under the lowest enemy: it is the next one to get through.
- Angle lasers cover the edges, so a streak is much easier to hold once you have them.
- Save a Super Charge for the Titan: it strips about a third of its hull before its plating holds.
- When the red stripe appears, move first and shoot after.
- From wave 4, divers stop and blink before they dive at where you are: slide away as the lamp goes out.
